An intensive three-day training program was conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of public works and housing supported by the Reform Secretariat at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation and the World Bank through the Jordan Growth Multi-Donor Trust Fund. This training aims to enhance the skills of technical staff from both the public and private sectors in applying the Output and Performance-based Road Maintenance Contracts (OPBRMC) document.

To support the Ministry of Public Works and Housing (MPWH) in developing the Road Asset Management System (RAMS), the Reform Secretariat at MoPIC, through the Jordan Growth Multi-Donor Trust Fund, conducted an intensive 6-day training program in October 2024. This program aimed to enhance the skills of MoPWH staff and road management personnel. 

Under the patronage of H.E. Minister of Investment, Eng. Mothanna Gharaibeh, the Ministry of Investment in collaboration with the Reform Secretariat at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC), held a consultative session with the private sector at the Association of Banks in Jordan (ABJ) on October 24, 2024.

Under the Sustainable Agricultural Plan 2022-2025, the Reform Secretariat at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation is supporting the Ministry of Agriculture through the Jordan Growth MDTF in developing a 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐢-𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐬. This system will boost food safety, expand export markets, and integrate advanced quality standards.

As part of the ongoing efforts and partnership between the Reform Secretariat at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (Jordan), the Companies Control Department, The Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply, and IFC - International Finance Corporation to strengthen Jordan’s insolvency framework, the sixth training course for certifying and licensing insolvency practitioners was successfully conducted during the last week of September. This initiative, supported by the Jordan Growth MDTF, featured a distinguished group of international experts and trainers.

On 24 September 2024, the Reform Secretariat at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC) hosted a successful technical meeting as part of the Jordan People-Centric Digital Government Program for Result. The meeting focused on developing and refining the annual work plan for three critical health-related indicators under the program, which aims to modernize service delivery in Jordan’s health sector.

In the last week of August 2024, the Reform Secretariat, in collaboration with the World Bank, delivered an in-depth three-day training on the Environmental and Social Framework (ESF). Over 50 participants from 31 government entities engaged in sessions designed to equip them with the essential tools and knowledge needed to assess environmental and social impacts in both ongoing and future reform initiatives.

The Reform Secretariat, through the Jordan Growth Multi-Donor Trust Fund, is supporting the Ministry of Agriculture in developing a National Traceability System for Agri-food Products. An initial meeting to kick off this project was held on Sunday, under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture, H.E. Eng. Khaled Henefat, with the presence of Secretary-General, Eng. Mohammad Al-Hiyari.

The World Bank and the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB), in collaboration with the Reform Secretariat at the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC), successfully concluded a joint mission from July 21 to 25, 2024. This mission marks a significant milestone in the implementation of the Transparent, Inclusive, and Climate Responsive Investment in Jordan - Program for Results. The mission focused on overseeing and evaluating the program's progress, addressing key milestones, and identifying challenges to ensure continued success.

The World Bank-led public procurement reforms mission, in collaboration with the Reform Secretariat in Jordan, concluded its four-day intensive and productive meetings. The mission, which took place from July 15-18, 2024, focused on strengthening government procurement reforms and addressing challenges faced by Project Management Units (PMUs) in implementing World Bank programs.
