On Wednesday, December 9th, around 50 representatives from ministries, government institutions, and targeted supply chains gathered at the Ministry of Agriculture for the fourth meeting of Phase 3 of the National Agri-Food Traceability System project. This phase follows the successful completion of Phases 1 and 2 and is implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture with support from the Reform Secretariat at MOPIC through the Jordan Growth Multi-Donor Trust Fund, in collaboration with the consulting company.

This phase aims to assess the latest traceability technologies and provide recommendations on adoptable technologies. The meeting also included a review of the information technology systems used in traceability and an introduction to the global GS1 coding standards.
