The Jordan Trade Facilitation Agreement (TFA) Strategy & Roadmap Workshop, organized in close coordination with the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply (MoITS) and World Bank, concluded today, 15 September, after two days of focused discussions on strengthening Jordan’s trade environment and advancing the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
The workshop brought together around 50 participants representing key government entities, as well as private-sector stakeholders, ensuring that both public and business perspectives were fully integrated into the strategy and roadmap.
On the first day, government representatives reviewed progress and self-assessment findings, identifying priority actions for implementation and the development-partner assistance required for each action. The second day engaged private-sector stakeholders to ensure that business perspectives and needs are fully integrated into the strategy and roadmap.
The outcomes of this two-day workshop lay the groundwork for a practical, time-bound roadmap that will guide Jordan’s next phase of trade facilitation and support sustainable economic growth.
